SOLID METAL CONDUCTORS WITH 1.25% SILVER CONTENT

In all-metal conductors, there is no mutual influence of internal strands and signal fluctuation is reduced. Solid silver plated conductors are excellent for transmitting microwave signals such as audio over Ethernet. Such high-frequency signals almost completely pass over the surface of the conductor. Since its surface is coated with highly refined silver, the overall performance of the cable is very close to solid silver at a price that is much closer to solid copper. This is an incredibly cost effective way to produce very high quality Ethernet cables.

HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE INSULATION

Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is in fact a component of a non-ideal electrical circuit. The insulation materials of wires and circuit boards absorb electricity, causing it to be wasted. Some of this energy is stored and then released as distortions. Solid high-density polyethylene insulation provides the necessary geometry of the signal pair, and the phase distortion induced by it is minimal.

DIRECTION

All audio cables are directional. The correct direction is determined by listening to each batch of metal conductors used in each AudioQuest cable. The arrows are clearly marked on the connectors and provide excellent sound quality. For best results, connect the cables so that the arrows point in the direction of the music. For example, a NAS to a router, and the latter to a network media player.
