Twisted pair Chord C-Stream 1.5 m

The 1.5m C-stream cable is a great illustration of how all Chord Company cables are designed and built. The company has found that Ethernet cables do have an effect on sound—and a lot of that has to do with the directionality of the cable. C-stream is a high quality Cat 7 cable with gold-plated contacts and a molded plug that provides reliable performance and safety during voltage relief, while not deforming the cable itself and positively affecting performance.

Of course, any streaming/Ethernet cable will work regardless of its directionality; however, the C-stream is intended to be used as part of a music system and is unidirectional - so it will sound better when connected in a specific direction. When working with C-stream, pay attention to the small black dot on one end of the cable - this is the one that should be connected to the component.
