Van Den Hul Skyline Hybrid is the only hybrid cable in this line:
each wire combines 19 strands of high purity oxygen-free copper coated with our Linear Structured Carbon®. This combination of metal and carbon (hybrid technology) has excellent properties in terms of resolution and neutrality and is therefore standard on all of our heavier speaker cables.
The Van Den Hul Skyline Hybrid was designed to be less flexible than its aforementioned counterparts, reflecting its purpose of being used in more permanent high quality loudspeaker wiring applications.
Van Den Hul Skyline Hybrid is 8.5mm. wide and 3.4 mm. fat. Each of the two 2.04 mm² wires has a resistance of 0.84 ohm / 100 m.
The cable sheath is made of sky blue HULLIFLEX ® 3, a durable, halogen-free material that perfectly protects copper conductors from the chemically hazardous outside world.
The sky blue color of the cable quite accurately conveys its sound character: clear, like a cloudless blue sky.
The insulation of both wires has a different shape, one round and the other with two edges printed on a flat surface: the easiest polarity detector you can think of. 25cm font printing. Spacing (10″) makes cutting to length easier.
The Van Den Hul Skyline Hybrid is available in 100m spools measuring 275 x 275 x 220mm. box with a total weight of 6.2 kg.
