Classic Series - The Original!
The Classic series includes flexible tinned, stranded, oxygen-free copper with a purity of 5N! In addition to corrosion resistance, tin plating also contributes to the highly desirable skin effect reduction and prevents destructive "jumps" of electrons (i.e. current) between strand surfaces that add unwanted timing errors to the music signal. Insulating a selected grade of chemically stable PVC improves the insulating surface of the tin over time. Classic cables are also available in flame retardant and halogen free versions; Classic/H FRHF.
The Classic Series, by today's measurements, has good entry-level cables available in a variety of gauges to suit a wide range of power transmission requirements. Compared to any inexpensive Hi-Fi cables included in speaker sets, the Supra Classic provides a marked improvement.
