Stereo amplifier Yamaha A-S501 II Black
With this amplifier, you can enjoy premium quality pure sound thanks to its Pure Direct mode. The Pure Direct function allows you to reproduce an analog audio signal, partially bypassing the digital path (amplifier buffer and tone, balance and volume control circuits). When the PURE DIRECT function is activated, noise can be reduced by bypassing an unused portion of the circuit and turning off power to that circuit. This allows you to enjoy high quality music playback from any input source.

The new amplifier model was developed in accordance with the principles of ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology). Thus, the circuitry of the right and left channels is completely identical. A-S501 II is equipped with a special anti-resonance ART Base and an additional massive baffle in the center of the case, which reduces vibrations.
It is also worth noting that the volume control of the A-S501 II operates very smoothly and does not distort frequencies even at minimum volume. The amplifier provides comfortable reproduction of both high and low frequencies even at low volumes thanks to the LOUDNESS function. The sound remains natural even at low volumes by reducing noise in the midrange and compensating for the loss of hearing sensitivity to high and low frequencies at low volumes.
On the front panel of the amplifier there are control and indication elements: PURE DIRECT button and indicator; volume control; INPUT selector and indicators; LOUDNESS regulator; BALANCE knob; TREBLE and BASS controls; a SPEAKERS selector, as well as a headphone jack, a sensor that receives infrared signals from the remote control, and a power button.
The rear panel contains connectors and inputs. The A-S501 II is equipped with digital optical and coaxial inputs, two separate inputs for connecting a CD player, PHONO and GND connectors, four outputs and eight inputs for connecting various devices, as well as a separate connector for connecting a subwoofer. Although the A-S501 II does not have its own wireless module, you can use the optional YBA-11 external Bluetooth adapter.
The device is economical and power consumption can be reduced using the AUTO POWER STANDBY switch. You can operate your Yamaha tuner and/or CD player using the amplifier's remote control.
This model is presented in a black case. The amplifier is supplied with a power cable, remote control and two AA batteries.
