As with all Rotel amplifiers, the RA-1572MKII features a Rotel factory-manufactured oversized toroidal transformer. The shape of the toroidal transformer helps prevent audio signals from becoming distorted as they pass through adjacent circuitry. The transformer feeds a bank of four high-efficiency T-Network capacitors with low equivalent series resistance (ESR), providing deep, controlled bass response.

The RA-1572MKII supports digital sources with a Texas Instruments 32-bit/384 kHz DAC and carefully tuned output filters to ensure even the most subtle details are conveyed. The preamplifier circuits and linear gain stages have been designed to provide natural sound, agility and an immersive soundstage. Inputs for analog, digital sources, USB with MQA support, wireless Bluetooth with aptX™ and AAC support, balanced XLR input and tape input (Moving Magnet Phono) allow you to connect your favorite sources.

The front panel features a status display, source and volume controls, AB speaker selection for Zone 2 and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Ethernet and RS232 connections provide seamless integration with control systems and software updates.
