The Denon PMA-600NE Integrated Stereo Amplifier is assembled using proprietary High-Single-Push-Pull push-pull amplification circuitry with reduced distortion, and has extended frequency and dynamic ranges, as well as increased output current.

The power supply of the Denon PMA-600NE amplifier uses high-power filter capacitors and independent sources for individual functional units of the device, and selected components are installed in the most important circuits in terms of sound quality. The amplifier is assembled on an anti-resonant chassis with a Direct Mechanical Ground proprietary design.

The Denon PMA-600NE amplifier is equipped with four line inputs, input / output for connecting a recording device. There is also an input for connecting a turntable. To connect acoustic systems, two pairs of high-quality screw terminals are used, which are also suitable for banana connectors. There is also an input and output for an external remote control system. The digital section in the Denon PMA-600NE amplifier is represented by two optical and one coaxial inputs, which are capable of receiving a PCM signal with parameters up to 24 bit / 192 kHz. It has an amplifier and a Bluetooth receiver that supports the improved aptX audio codec.

Minimum signal path circuitry that minimizes the signal path from input to output, suppresses signal degradation and coloration, and ensures high quality audio reproduction. The Denon PMA-600NE minimizes the signal line by switching the source directly with a relay instead of a mechanical switch. In addition, by locating the direct source switching relay on the volume board, the signal path can be further shortened compared to the PMA-800NE.

On the front panel of the Denon PMA-600NE, arranged in the classic style of the "golden seventies", there are volume controls, tone controls in the bass and treble region and stereo balance, buttons for turning on the loudness and direct audio signal feed modes. There is also a signal source selector, and for the CD and Phono inputs, signals are switched using high-quality relays located in close proximity to the input jacks. A headphone output is provided (6.3 mm jack with gold-plated contact surfaces). The amplifier is supplied with a remote control, from which you also have access to the main functions of the Denon DCD-600NE CD player, which form a very successful duet with this unit.
