In the six years since the launch of the latest NAIT integrated amplifier, Naim 's R&D team has created a number of improvements. The result is a redesigned Supernait 3 amplification section that delivers even better and more realistic sound to your favorite music through your speakers or headphones.

The Naim Supernait 3 has been extensively redesigned to improve performance. With the addition of a built-in phono stage, the Supernait 3 is the perfect partner for turntables - as well as streamers, CD players and any other music source you want to enjoy Naim signature sound from.

The class A preamp stage acts as a headphone amplifier. For optimal sound quality, ceramic heat sinks minimize capacitive coupling between the chassis and the output transistors.

Each of the inputs is separately isolated to minimize noise and interference. The internal input relay uses ultra-low-noise DC power supplies based on our flagship NAC 552 preamplifier.

The Naim Supernait 3 can be further upgraded with external power supplies, power amplifiers and cables for maximum sound quality.

The Naim R&D team found a way to more than double the speed of the voltage gain stage, doubling the speed of the final stage's response.

The transistors of the second amplifying stage are optimized and no longer require cascode shielding. This means that the amplifier needs less stabilization: the slew rate is doubled, resulting in a noticeable improvement in sound quality.

The phono stage is made on three stages: an amplifying stage, a passive equalization stage and a final amplifying stage with active equalization. This solution has an excellent signal-to-noise ratio, the ability to equalize RIAA beyond the audible audio spectrum and excellent headroom.

All capacitors and resistors for RIAA EQ are pre-wired film components with reduced mic effect and excellent peak response. Since the phono stages are 1000 times more sensitive than other inputs, this solution allows for a significant improvement in sound quality.
