Focal Alpha 65 is well suited for monitoring classical and instrumental music, as well as for mixing electronic and pop genres. Providing precise control and panoramic balance of material during the recording and processing stages. The model is ideally suited for work in small control rooms and studios.

The Alpha 65 is equipped with a 6.5" (16.5 cm) Polyglass cone woofer and a 1" (25 mm) aluminum inverted dome tweeter in a front-facing bass reflex enclosure. characteristic range is not narrower than 40 Hz - 22 kHz (+/-3 dB).

The cabinets have been specially designed for the Alpha series and are made from 15mm thick MDF. On the rear panel there is a +4/-10 input sensitivity switch as well as low-pass and high-pass filters for acoustic correction of monitors in the room. Alpha supports a power saving mode that automatically turns off the monitor when idle.
