The body is made of matte plastic and MDF covered with shockproof vinyl film. It is worth noting that despite their acoustic potential, the speakers turned out to be quite compact, which is definitely a plus for owners of studios and other premises limited in space. Special attention should be paid to the expressive design of the monitors, achieved thanks to the red inserts applied to the woofer diffusers. The audio broadcast control scheme (for each channel) is represented by volume controls, as well as selectors for HF control (+2 dB, -2 dB) and adaptation to the nuances of the speaker arrangement. The set of connection interfaces (in turn) combined unbalanced (RCA) and balanced (XLR and TRS) input connectors.

Takstar MT5 is a two-way speaker system equipped with a polypropylene woofer and a silk dome tweeter. It is noteworthy that the used combination of emitters provided a fairly wide, as for small studio monitors, range of reproduced frequencies, covering from 57 Hz to 20 kHz, which made it possible to achieve a more weighty, deeper bass and more airy HF.
