Studio monitor Neumann KH 420 G
The KH 420, as a result of using the latest technologies in acoustic, electronic and mechanical design, sets new standards in sound reproduction quality. Computer-optimized speakers, waveguide with Mathematically Modeled Dispersion™
The KH 420, as a result of using the latest technologies in acoustic, electronic and mechanical design, sets new standards in sound reproduction quality. Computer-optimized drivers, a Mathematically Modeled Dispersion™ (MMD™) waveguide, flexible acoustic control, a variety of input options, and a wide choice of mounting hardware allow the KH 420 to be used in a variety of acoustic environments, with equipment from any source and in a variety of locations.
The KH 420 is designed to be used as a middle or main monitor. It is particularly well suited for use in music, broadcast and post-production recording, mixing and mastering studios. The enclosure can be wall-mounted or wall-mounted thanks to the port located on the front panel, and can be freely mixed into a multi-channel system with a wide range of other loudspeakers - Product Selection Guide.

Advantages :
- Low distortion at high frequencies
- Smoothed off-axis output,
- more adapted to different acoustic environments.
- Easy to use mixing console.
- Reduced reflection from the mixing console
- Latest simulation technologies to minimize non-linear (intermodulation) distortion
- The dedicated speaker reproduces the important midrange frequencies, which is extremely important in speech and vocals.
- The lightweight diaphragm has better transient response and fewer interruption modes than tapered designs.
- Powerful magnet reduces non-linear and intermodulation distortion
- Attenuated interruption modes and high sound levels with minimal distortion
- The linear piston drive gives a very low level of non-linear distortion even with large deviations from the equilibrium position.
- Reduced radial interruption modes on a ribbed surface
- Displays the status of work and the activation of the protection system
- Subdued light in dim conditions or when working behind a projection screen
- No standing wave resonance
- Fast transient bass response
- Reduced intermodulation distortion at midrange frequencies
- Reduced diffraction and smoother frequency response
- Improved transient response
- Speed, high reliability and the ability to get the best performance from the system
- The elements of the KH 310 pair are compatible with other KH 310s
- More control in different acoustic environments
- Easier interaction with signal sources
- Reduced noise level in electrically noisy environments and weakened ground loops
- For flexible and seamless digital interaction (24bit, 192kHz, AES3 and S/P-DIF)
- Equalizes audio and video signals
- Compensates for differences in distance between listeners
- One version works in any country and is stable under poor mains power conditions
- Greater mounting flexibility on mounting pads in different locations and backwards compatibility with previous models
- Can be used as needed to protect speakers
