Subwoofer REL S510 is a smaller copy of the older model in this series and has similar design features. This model is perfect for sounding medium-sized rooms in cases where the power of the S810 may be excessive. The device has a robust MDF case with deep internal damping and a very high quality exterior finish. The simple design of the REL S510 will fit seamlessly into almost any interior.

The subwoofer is equipped with a proprietary woofer with a ContinuousCast diffuser made of aluminum alloy. The solid cone structure with an integrated dust cap ensures undistorted sound even at peak loads. In the REL S510, the cone has been further improved by using a carbon fiber backing. It not only provided better damping of unwanted vibrations, but also made the movement of the membrane more uniform, streamlining the propagation of sound waves inside the case.

The acoustic load for the woofer in the REL S510 subwoofer is a passive radiator. Its diffuser is made of carbon and is able to move with a large amplitude due to the use of a variable section suspension. The design of this bass radiator, which received the brand name SuperProgressive, is also patented by the company.

The subwoofer uses a NextGen3 efficient class D amplifier. Its circuitry has been optimized for use in REL subwoofers and the amplifier power in the S510 is 500W. This is 20 percent more than the previous generation of subwoofers, which makes the bass even more dynamic and developed.

The PerfectFilter in the REL S510 has an improved frequency response for a more balanced sound. The subwoofer's input set includes unbalanced and balanced line inputs, as well as acoustic inputs on Neutrik connectors. Also in this model, transit outputs are provided, which will be useful if you need to use several of these subwoofers in one system. And the REL S510 case is designed in such a way that, if necessary, several subs can be installed in a column.
