Audioquest Tower RCA-RCA 3m Audio Cable
The solid copper used in the AUDIOQUEST Tower (2RCA-2RCA) cable with longitudinal grain provides a smoother and clearer sound compared to cables using conventional oxygen-free high conductivity copper (OFHC). OFHC is a general metallurgical specification, where the prefix "bes" does not mean the absence of distortion. LGC as a conductive material contains less oxides, impurities and grain boundaries and provides a clearly superior audio performance.

Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is actually a component of an imperfect electrical circuit. Wire and circuit board insulation materials absorb electrical energy, causing losses. Some of this energy is stored and then released as distortion. The AUDIOQUEST Tower (2RCA-2RCA) cable uses air-filled foamed polyethylene insulation on both conductors because air absorbs almost no energy, and polyethylene does not create large losses and has a “gentle” distortion profile. Due to the presence of air in foamed polyethylene, the latter causes a much smaller defocus effect compared to other materials.
Shielding of 100% of the surface is easy. To prevent captured RF interference from modulating the equipment ground plane, the Noise-Dissipation System developed by AQ specialists is used. Thanks to it, a significant portion of RF interference does not reach the equipment ground plane.
The AUDIOQUEST Tower cable (2RCA-2RCA) features cold-welded, gold-plated RCA plugs. This plug design provides a connection without solder, which is a common source of distortion.
