Conductors with direction control

All elongated metal strands or conductors have an asymmetrical, and therefore directional, grain structure. AudioQuest controls the resulting change in RF impedance so that noise is directed away from places where it might cause distortion. The correct direction is determined by listening to each batch of metal conductors used in each AudioQuest audio cable. Where applicable, connectors are clearly marked with arrows to ensure superior audio quality. For most AQ cable models, the arrows not only indicate a direction that optimizes metal directionality within the noise suppression system, but also indicate asymmetrical shield and ground attachment to optimize overall system performance. As a fundamental aspect of AudioQuest's multi-layer noise reduction technology, direction-controlled conductors ensure proper dispersion and removal of induced noise.
