Vinyl disc LP Friedemann: Echoes Of A Shattered Sky. Guitarist and composer Friedeman Viteka found a vivid example of social collapse in Anna Funder's book Stasiland, published in 2003. There he found the words: pieces of a broken sky. Friedemann experienced his own world crumbling in 2010-11. And this new album appeared like this - in the beginning there was an end: Echoes Of A Shattered Sky. In addition to numerous collaborations with various musical partners, this is his ninth studio production in 35 years.

A new beginning emerged from the end, as evidenced by the colorful butterfly. Wing Your Way, Butterfly - this is the name of the musical interpretation of the impending breakdown. The intro is also a key track: it shows that Friedemann has remained true to himself, yet broadening his horizons since his latest albums such as Short Stories (2003) or Saitensprung (2007).
