Hans Tessink has been on the road for over 50 years and feels lucky to have been able to make this musical journey, often accompanied by a wonderful extended family of musicians.
He brought many of his fellow musicians to a 70th anniversary party that ran for 4 nights to a sold-out crowd at the Vienna Metropole. The result is this wonderful live collection of fun handmade.
On 4, 5, 6 and 7 April 2018 Hans Tessink recorded his legendary Birthday Bash concerts at the Metropol in Vienna. Fans and fellow musicians flocked from all over Europe and North America to celebrate Hans' 70th birthday. The atmosphere was great and the performers took the listeners on a wonderful musical journey. This 180 gram vinyl record is a unique birthday document full of highlights and unusual sessions.
Hans Tessink is one of the most furious acoustic musicians in Europe and one of the world's best acoustic blues stars, a man who has played with the best and is one of the best. This guy is a real master, just a blues master who is good at every level.
