The Stroboscope Speed Test Record accurately measures the speed of an analog player in real time. Lower this device onto the turntable's rotating platter. If the lines on the disc stay in place and do not move forward or backward, the speed on the player is set correctly. The Stroboscope Test Record's groove creates the extra stylus travel you need to accurately measure your turntable's rotational speed in real time, and can also be used to break in new cartridges.
For best accuracy, use in conjunction with the Clearaudio Speed Light strobe.
