Made In Japan is Deep Purple's biggest commercial success album (platinum in the US and gold in the UK). The record was released in 1972, and the material was performances in Osaka and Tokyo. The concerts mainly sounded compositions from the album of the same year Machine Head. Rolling Stone magazine awarded this creation the sixth line in the list of the best live albums of all time.
In this version, the album is released on double audiophile vinyl 180 grams.
Deep Purple was founded in Britain in February 1968 and became a symbol of hard rock in the 70s. The group is considered the founders of hard rock, and is also credited with the development of the heavy metal and progressive rock genres. The golden line-up includes guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, drummer Ian Paice and keyboardist Jon Lord. To date, the team has released 18 studio albums, which have sold a total circulation of 240 million copies.
