The Pro-Ject Debut RecordMaster is a turntable for lovers of retro design and quality sound. The main feature of the model is to support three speeds at once: 33, 45 and 78 rpm. In addition, the player can be connected to a PC or Mac for digitizing records. Design The Debut RecordMaster features a massive MDF table that absorbs engine vibrations. The supporting disc with a diameter of 30 centimeters is made of steel and is complemented by a felt mat. The disk and cartridge are protected from dust by a transparent cover, and the base is complemented by wide, stable legs. The model is presented in two colors: black gloss and walnut veneer.
How it works? The Debut RecordMaster is equipped with a belt drive system with a synchronous motor: the motor is mounted directly on the body, and the rotation is transmitted to the surface of the disk using a thin round silicone belt. The turntable is equipped with an 8.6" aluminum tonearm and an Ortofon OM 5 E moving magnet cartridge. The Debut RecordMaster supports three speeds: 33, 45 and 78 rpm. Between 33 rpm and 45 rpm it switches automatically, and at 78 rpm it must be switched manually. In addition, to play records at a speed of 78 rpm, the user will have to purchase an appropriate stylus on the OM78.
Another important feature is the ability to connect the Debut RecordMaster to a PC or Mac. To do this, the device has a USB-B connector. By connecting the player to a computer, the user can digitize records to listen to their favorite audio in familiar sound even on an MP3 player.
