The AKG D5 C is a professional-grade dynamic microphone used to capture lead and backing vocals from small venues to large concert halls. The D5 C microphone has a cardioid pickup pattern and provides minimal feedback, as well as the ability to withstand extremely high sound pressure levels Max. SPL > 160 dB.

D5C dynamic microphone from AKG. Good sound performance is provided by the built-in microphone capsule with a cardioid sound pattern and excellent protection against external noise, which makes it possible to use it flexibly when working on a noisy stage (vocals, backing vocals, lead vocals, etc.).
Additional protection for the microphone capsule is provided by a special spherical steel wire nozzle, under which a number of filters are additionally placed, such as: pop filter, wind protection, breath protection, moisture protection and vibration protection. All active components and the microphone control board are hidden in an elongated tubular metal case with small dimensions, thoughtful ergonomics and original design. All this makes the D5C one of the best tools for the professional vocalist.
