The compact cabinet houses two drivers, including a wide-format mid-range driver and a high-quality dome tweeter, which receive a signal from a two-channel Class D amplifier. An advanced DSP (Digital Signal Processing) system provides a full sound range, with a personal equalizer setting that helps to ensure smooth, natural tonal balance.

The HEOS 1 HS2 case is sealed for moisture resistance, making it ideal for use in damp environments such as bathrooms. Plus, with the optional HEOS 1 Go Pack HS2 Li-Ion external battery, you can make your speaker truly cordless and count on up to 6 hours of continuous playback. The HEOS 1 Go Pack HS2's Splashguard silicone cover seals the jacks and ports and protects the speaker even from splashing water.

Connect your smartphone or portable player directly to the HEOS 1 HS2 via the USB port, or via the stereo line-in, which can also be used to connect analog audio sources. If an external battery HEOS 1 Go Pack HS2 is connected to the speaker, then through the USB port the mobile device can not only transfer music files, but also charge.
