Caring for your eKO® rubber mat

Daily Refresh: To keep your eKO® mat fresh and clean, wipe it down after each workout with Manduka's mat wash & refresh. To do this, use a clean cloth and wipe the mat dry before rolling or using it.

Monthly Restore: To maintain the performance of your eKO® mat, use Manduka's natural rubber yoga mat restore once a month. Leave the cleaner on the mat for 5 minutes, then gently wipe it with a clean cloth and let it dry before using or rolling it up.

Thorough Cleaning: For deep cleaning of the mat, use Manduka botanical mat cleaner.

Important Cautions:

1. Do not wash eKO series mats in a washing machine, as this may damage them and increase the destruction of the rubber layer.
2. Do not soak or immerse eKO series mats in water.
3. Do not use the salt method for eKO series mats.
4. Using the eKO® Mat in hot conditions may cause the rubber to dry out and degrade its properties. In these conditions, use the repair spray more often to maintain the mat's performance.
5. Before placing the mat on the floor, make sure it and the floor are completely dry. Otherwise, the color of the mat may be imprinted on the floor.

Storage: Do not leave the yoga mat in direct sunlight. If the mat is wet, let it dry before rolling it up. To maintain the long-term properties of the mat, store it rolled up in a bag or case, as prolonged exposure to sun and air can damage the rubber.
